Reform UK, the political party led by Nigel Farage, has announced it will accept cryptocurrency donations, marking a first for a European political party. The initiative is facilitated by Radom, a U.K.-based crypto payments company licensed as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP). According to Radom, the average crypto donation stands at $6,000—30 times higher than typical fiat contributions.

The move follows U.S. President Donald Trump’s $18 million crypto fundraising ahead of the 2024 election. Farage has pledged to emulate Trump’s push for crypto adoption, vowing to make the U.K. a "crypto hub" if elected prime minister. His 2023 debanking controversy has fueled debates over financial inclusivity and political bias in banking.

Radom CEO Chris Wilson praised the decision, highlighting its potential to spur regulatory clarity and broader crypto adoption in the U.K. "We appreciate Nigel Farage’s efforts in drawing attention to debanking," Wilson said. "This initiative could drive progress toward sustainable industry growth."
